Buy Books Speciality Shops Review

If you want to buy specialized books you can go to the center of the city, where some big book shops are located. In particular, Catalonia bookstore is a good place to choose (in front of Corte Ingles). By the way, El Corte Ingles is not a very recommended place to buy, it's very expensive.

You can try in another famous and big bookstore: "Abacus" located at Ausias March street.

Shopping in Sants Shoes / Clothes Review

This is maybe off the beaten path, but is also quite typical from Barcelona. Sants street (beginning at Pza Espanya and ending in the town of Hospitalet) is one of the most crowded of the city. It's specially nice to see it on Christmas cos streets are adorned with color light bulbs and athmosphere is charming.

What to buy: This long street is called the "Shoes shop street" but there are plenty of clothes shops and other kind of shops. There are many coffes, ice cream's shops, restaurants, fast foods...

It's Europe's Longest Commercial Street.

What to pay: It's not specially expensive, some had said to be pretty cheap, at least cheaper than in the City center...

Where To Go Shopping Combined Suggestions Review

What place you want to go depends on what you want to buy. If you want to buy some presents for your family or some other general goods, you can walk down Puerta del Angel and Puertaferrisa. These streets are full of little shops, you won't find big supermarkets or shopping malls, but they are more charming.

What to buy: If you want to buy big quantities of food or any other thing without having to walk too much, you may go to one of the fashion big shopping malls. There are about 7 or 8 (Heron City, Icaria, Glories...) and they include cinemas, supermarkets, record shops, everything.
