This festival is not as famous as others like Cannes, Venice or some others in Spain, but it's specialized in fantastic and science-fiction films, or it was, since the Generalitat put money and gave it a more 'international' look and showing films of all genres. In any case, the festival is a good chance to meet the beautifulness of Sitges during the first weeks of October.

As with Cinema Festival, this carnival is not as famous as Cadiz one, but going to Sitges at this time (February) is always a good option. Date: Feb 27th - Mar 5th
