It's a self-service/free buffet for less than 6 € or so. It's not a typical place from here with paellas or tortillas but I have good memories on it.

Restaurant Name: Restaurant Hispania
If you feel you need to try traditional catalan cuisine go to this restaurant. This restaurant doesn't appear in guides, but it's really traditional. It's not a snobbish place, it's just a traditional restaurant with accurate dishes. Meals are made with good ingredients (often difficult to find on markets) and is owned by two old woman.
Favorite Dish: Pa amb tomàquet it's just bread with tomato but very typical from here and very tasty.

Restaurant Name: Sinatra
Most people (they may read on the guides) go to Les quinze nits restaurant located in Plaça del Rei. A very popular place indeed, but there's only one objection, the queue is veeeeeeeery long, due you can't book in advance. Even if you go early at evening (let's say 7:30pm) you will think about going to another place. The place is Sinatra!: just on the right to Les quinze nits there's a narrow street and 20 meters ahead you have a similar restaurant, ok it's full of guiris (foreigners) but the food is delicate, tasteful and similar price to Les Quinte nits
