Green of County Kerry
My friends and I decided to embark on a 9-day driving tour of southern Ireland. We flew into Shannon airport and after driving 860 miles of sightseeing we turned our much battered rental car in Dublin. Our travels took as to as many places and counties as we could cover in that time. Our itinerary was as follows:

Day 1: Arrive Shannon, County Clare
Drive to Galway City, Country Galway
Drinks at The Quays, Galway City

Day 2: Drive to Burren
Lunch in Doolin
See the Cliffs of Moher
Spend night in Adare, County Limerick
Drinks at Lenas and Dinner at The Inn Between in Adare

Day 3: See Adare and Adare Manor
Stop at Bunratty Castle
Lunch at Durty Nellys
Drive to Dingle Town, County Kerry
Dinner at Maire De Barra, Dingle Town
Drinks at Tom Longs and Murphy's Pub in Dingle Town

Day 4: See Dingle Peninsulab
Lunch at Geaneys, Dingle Town
Drive to Killarney, County Kerry
Visit Killarney National Park
Dinner at The Laurels, Killarney
Drinks at The Danny Mann

Day 5: Visit Muckross House
Drive to Blarney Castle and Rock Close
Shop at Blarney Woolen Mills
Drive to Kinsale, County Cork
Dinner at The Little Skillet, Kinsale

Day 6: Visit Charles Fort and Kinsale Crystal
Drive to County Tipperary
Visit Cahir Castle and Swiss Cottage
Stay in Dualla, County Tipperary
Dinner at Hannigans Restaurant, Cashel

Day 7: Visit Rock of Cashel
Drive to and visit Jerpoint Abbey
Visit Ahenny High Crosses and Kells Priory
Drive to Kilkenny

Day 8: Visit Kilkenny Castle, Black Abbey and St. Canice's Cathedral
Drive to friends house in County Meath
Drive to Dublin
Dinner at Elephant and Castle, Dublin
Drinks at a traditional Irish Bar and Zanzibar

Day 9: Sightseeing in Dublin
Dinner and drinks at O'Donahues

Hi Traci! Though I've seen a lot of Ireland I realised that there's still a lot to be seen for me. Great page. Happy birthday from Finland!

Good reviews of Ireland. It's been too long since I visited there. My relatives live in the North, no touristy sites but it is still beautiful. I have heard that about the Blarney stone also.
