Only One Piazza
Six Sestieri
Venice has only one piazza - San Marco. All other large open spaces in the city are either campi or campielli (depending on their size).
Review Helpfulness: 
Venice is divided into six districts called 'sestieri'. San Marco, Castello and Cannaregio on one side of the Grand Canal. Dorsoduro, San Polo and Santa Croce on the other. Buildings are numbered progressively by sestiere rather than by street.
