A beautiful warm summer weekend in Cologne, Koln, why must names be changed in English - surely it's easier if everyone calls places the same? ..... Anyway, good place to visit, plenty to see, do and drink! heres what we got up to...... |
|  | Revisit April 2005 Just a short visit, a Saturday to watch the NFL Europe game between Cologne and Hamburg. Managed to revisit some Kolsch bars too of course!
Third visit, October 2007, to see a Waterboys gig so, a music venue to report on and another good bar. |
| | Local beer, called Kolsch, is very light - great on warm days but not too sure in winter, and served in tiny glasses called stange - still....developed a good liking for it of course, though I understand it is ridiculed throughout the rest of Germany - shame! I'll mention some of the Hausbrauerei we visited later... |
