This page covers 4 nights in Faulensee with visits to Thun and Spiez, I've not enough material to create individual pages so, they are all on here.
We were in the area to ride on the Niessenbahn funicular railway but the only clear day (little point going up on a cloudy day) was the day we left and the only time we saw the top of the mountain was from Spiez railway station, ho-hum that's life I guess and an excuse to revisit in the future.
Anyway our time here was not wasted, enjoyable visits to the towns mentioned, a ride on the lake, a visit to a very wet Lauterbrunnen with a short stop in Interlaken on the way back
