Pizzeria Verdi: Tasty pizza

Friendly pizza place close to the river and nicely in the shade ona warm day. Pizzas very tasty, and nicely cooked and arrived with dishes of onions, garlic, jalapeno and tomato to add to it - a nice touch, never seen that at a pizza restaurant before, been to a few as well.......
Anyway, recommend this one highly, we enjoyed.

Stajerc: Brewpub

City centre pub that brews it's own excellent beer and sells good tasty food to go with it. Just about says it all really.
Hot weather when we visited so beer garden for us, inside looked good and was still popular.

Grill Ranka: Very busy

Restaurant close to the river Drava, walked by a couple of times and it was always busy. Our last night in Maribor some people were leaving as we walked by, here was our chance.
An English menu was found for us, (only one veggi option - but very good says Mrs Bonio).
Cevapici, a favourite for me, served in lepinji, a flat and very good bread, cheese in the same for herself, a dish of ajvar to share as well. All very tasty, Bonio recommends.

Kitajska Hisa: Great Chinese

Hope the name is corect, it's on the sign outside.
Good Chinese food, outside on a warm July evening for us. We had problems with the menu but the English speaking waitress soon had us sorted. Food excelllent, really tasty, we enjoyed very much.
Friendly place at a good price, recommended.
