Ok that's watertower to me! and an impressive one too. I can imagine when the weather is warmer many people must gather in the area surrounding it to sunbathe or party?

Hugely impressive outside, not sure if it's open to the public as it seems to be part of the university, but still worth the short walk from the station to have a look. Not a bad view from the train either.

For marvellous views over the city and the Neckar River pay a visit to the tv tower. Costs €3.50 to use the lift to the top but just about worth it, wish we chose a clear day to go though.......Skyline restaurant there too, just had breakfast so didn't visit, can imagine the views are great at night.
