In 1984 we visited Munich and Oktoberfest. We always wanted to go back. In 2000 9 of us did. In 2001 14 of us returned. 2002, back again, just Mrs Bonio and me!! 2003 another visit to the Wies'n, as good as ever and the hangovers are getting worse, age I guess! 2003 a short visit for a flight on Lufthansa's vintage Ju-52 - magic 2004, August, 2 days with friends, visited Deutsche Museum, highly recommended. 2004, Sept, another short visit to Oktoberfest. 2005, July, 2 days with Mrs Bonio, doing the tourist things and a few beers! 2005, Sept, 14 on a boys weekend to Oktoberfest, told I had a great time! 2006, July. 4 day trip including the Rolling Stones at the Olympic stadium. 2007 Jan, just passing through heading for the airport, time for lunch at our favourite bar, Lamm's 2007 December. 2 days visiting Christmas markets. 2008 December. 5 days including a visit to the zoo and the beer museum amongst other things. 2009 July. 2 days and a visit to Auer Dult. |
| | Rolling Stones at the Olympic Stadium No longer a venue for FC Bayern or 1860 football games, the Olympic Stadium is a great place to watch live music |
Pleasure flight July 2003 saw me visit Munich without Oktoberfest for the first time. Just a two day trip to fly on Lufthansa's vintage Ju-52, a flight oveer the city. It cost lots of € but was really worth it, see a t'logue later for more photos | | |

Welcome to Luhansk to "Beerhof" microbrewery, too! | nicolaitan Wed Jan 2, 2008 16:49 UTC The DC3 is not another age - I flew DC3s with Colonial, Ozark, Eastern, Mohawk, and other now defunct US airlines and I'm still alive.
