Welcome to Bonio's hometown!

by bonio - last update: Aug 21, 2003

Rothwell, Northamptonshire, there are others around the country, is around 70 miles north from London and 60 miles west of Birmingham. Pop around 6000. Nearest major towns are Kettering 4 miles, Northampton 14 miles and Leicester 21 miles. I've always lived here! It's generally a quiet market town but we do have our moments sometimes. Take a look hopefully you'll find something interesting! I'll keep adding to this page whenever I get the chance.......
Rowell fair 2003

Rowell Fair

2004 will be the 800th anniversary of the fair, yep! first held in 1204. This promises to be a good party and will start on Saturday June 5th but, the reading of the fair charter will take place on Monday 7th at 6a.m. Pubs open from then onwards and entertainment throughout the town.
Looks like a day to remember.....
