Three days in Batumi - Batumi

A short visit to this interesting town on the Georgian (Ajaran) coast of the Black Sea.
A place unlike any I have previously visited, undergoing a very rapid transformation into a glitzy international resort, still retaining plenty of charm at the moment and somewhere to revisit in a few years to see how things have developed.
Anyway, we found plenty to amuse ourselves plus some decent eating and drinking places plus, a pleasant hotel to mention too.
Here's what we did.
