Just near the exit of Metro so Its very convenient. The place Republique is a a nice square with lots of places to eat, and shop.

Unique Qualities: As a resident guest we were given a coupon for 50% discount on Buffet breakfast which was very tasty and a whole lots of choices.
I liked the fruit Salad, Croissant, few types of Chesse and the hot choclate.

Tough its a bit expensive for 50 Euro, but if you are 3 people travelling you can stay for just 3 more Euros. That makes it a nice stay. Rooms are clean with all basic necessities. It is air cooled, clean bed.

I also liked the buffet breakfast. Its a deal for 4 Euro. You get assorted bread, jams, butter, honey, Juice, tea, and not to foget the tasty hot Chocolate (I think its name was Montana).

Unique Qualities: Though its a bit faroff from the central Paris, but its just 3 min walk from Metro, and a nice market with some good restaurants.

Etap Hotel is a chain of Hotels and there are around 10 of them in Paris, but most of them are at the peripherique.

And there are arund 370 Etap Hotel locations, and many of which are in all parts of France. And they have Hotels along "Tour de France".

I have booked my hotel via web site and no problems. I tried Holiday Inn and Etap Hotel. Usually they do not charge on CC. Once you check in then they ask for the mode of payment.
They keep the details of the card incase you do not turn up. or cancel late.

Check if the site is Thwate/verisign protected.
