Wintertime

Canterbury stretches from Kaikoura in the North to Timaru in the South..hence it's called North -Canterbury , Mid-Canterbury with Christchurch Region and the Capital, to South-Canterbury, where Timaru is the Main Port for Farmers, Acriculture the main Income source, goods are shipped out from here......can get real cold, that knocks your socks of from June till Aug

the many landscapes in Canterbury, good Roads only dangerous when you can't take your eyes of the stunning scenery.
sometimes that's not easy to do, like here at the road into Hanmer Springs, towards the Southern Alps..this road bend has taken its toll, be carefull and do what the sign tells you.its not funny to fall down a big ridge.

Pros:many opportunities for exciting activities
Cons:some of them I mentioned already
In a nutshell:sometimes, for no reason at all,I just have to take a deep breath!

Ahh, well, also here I could hike and hike and hike forever, and if I'm tired, stop at a cow and get my milk fresh from the source hihi :-)) ^..^ Where are the chocolate cows ?? Lol, the bears would more crave for them - loool :-))
