the History of Andalucia reaches back to the Neandertal Man, who lived on the Rock of Gibraltar 50 000 years ago....500year B.C. the Carthaginians had colonised souther Spain.the Romans 300years later, sailing up the River Gualdaquivir as far as Cordoba. under the Romans, Spain became a Christian Country in the 4th century and the spanish Language perhaps the closest modern tongue to Latin.
when the Roman Empire collapsed, Andalucia was devasted by many wars and in the year 711 the invasion of the Moors began. they made Andalucia their home for 8th centuries and enhanced the region with astonishing Cities like Cordoba, Sevilla, Granada....and others
here I will leave history.when you ever have the chance to travel to this part of Spain, just enjoy human heritage. Andalucia is absolutly beautiful...exept: the heat, take your pick from May till end of June maybe, after that, it is a scorcher.*
- Pros:Andalucias beauty
- Cons:Andalucias heat
- In a nutshell:pick the right time to travel
