the blooming City of the south Porto Alegre..the friendly Capital of Rio Grande do Sul, Parque Farroupilha and Jacaranda Tree, so I thought, but it is the Ipe Tree( ee-pay ).the City is located on the Guaiba River, one of the greenest in South America, founded by the Immigrants from the Azores in 1742 Porto Algre in these days has grown tremendously, 1.5mill people in the City, around 100% more then in 1972.the area counts 3.6mill now. Porto Alegre is reconized as an europaen City, with its immigration from the 19th century, manly Italiens and Germans and the population now counts Spaniards, the Portugues and Japanese, Poles to their ethnic groups **
