Bruges..or Brugge in flamish. this Town dates back to the 10th Century and sure is the Pearl under Belgiums Cities.the medieval architecture is largely untouched over the last centuries
and thank god it was spared from destruction by WWII.
and today Brugge has so much to offer, impossible not to find what ya looking for. gardens, shopping, food, beer, wine.....you name it!
in Brussel's at the Grand Place...an other monument, made of Brass.for me she looks like a Pieta, a painful expression on the face, but she's kept smooth by stroking over the whole body from passers by..for good Luck
Antwerp has one of the busiest Port's in the world, situated at the mouth of the River Schelde, a Center for Worldtrading. and a very beautiful historic city center too. the Cathedral a must for all lovers of architecture.
the great flamish painter Rubens has lived and worked in this City
- In a nutshell:if you miss it, you will regret it
