Favorite Thing: while Ahrweiler is more hands on approch, Bad Neuenahr is hand in the pocket or better, you must have deep pockets......Bad Neuenahr is for the more rich and Gamblers. The Casino one of the oldest in Germany.
Kaiser Wilhem II a frequented visitor here.
but the Town has also a wonderful setting right beside the River Rhine and the Promenade a wee beauty. People also flock to the Health Spa, which has an excellent Reputation in Germany

I once spent a weekend in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, and it was pretty awful -- but that was because of the seminar, not the town. The town was OK. (Hard to imagine it's the dead of winter down where you are!) |
