Rhein & Mosel

this is a very fine place to be..Deutsches Eck, where the Mosel and Rhein come together.Koblenz is a real cutie, very friendly open people, know how to party and the surrounding are quite stunning and very accessable. take the Train for one of the most beautiful journeys along the left side of the Rhein...River Rhine
and from here its easy to visit other european Countries like France, Luxemburg from there to Belgium, Holland. have a great trip

Pros and Cons

Pros:why not Europe, cradle of some great culture
Cons:well, it is quite a packed place
In a nutshell:won't and can't deny my european..roots

An interesting Grand Tour of Europe. I've been to Andernach, by the way; once did a presentation there. Fine spring-blossom photo on your homepage. It's starting to get a bit cool and blustery here.

An excellent overview of your thoughts on Europe!! You have obviously made the rounds of many of it's countries. I think I would prefer to go in Spring as well - thanks for the great tips!
