If you speak no japanese, it would really help to have someone around who does... The signs in the busses and trains and elsewhere, rarely would you find stuff in english. Infact, i noticed sometimes that the average person on the streets sometimes gets a bit intimidated when confronted with a question/ querry in english... Fortunately for me, i Jitka was there to help out with things...
