Pay a visit to 'Speakers Corner', an institution which perhaps is the only place outside the parliament where u can say pretty much anything- to anyone- royalty included and get away with it! its an institution thats been around for a few hundred years... worth a visit for sure.
You can come across people making all sorts of statements- arguing- abusing maybe, but it all goes on without all hell breaking lose and it happens every week of the year! christians, muslims, jews, palestinians, evangelists, blacks, whites, asians... arguing, debating, creating lots of noise... right down to the banners and posters!!
The activity happens every sunday, i think its at 2pm in the afternoon or something... at the Marble Arch corner- hyde park.
