Another trip...

A visit to Sarnath in Feb this year (2007) was my third trip. This time, i was shooting a travel show called `Luxury India'.

Sarnath, being the place where the Buddha preached his first sermon, after attaining enlightenment, is a very important place for pilgrimage for Buddhists from around the world. Its located a few kilometers away from Varanasi.

I used to study Buddhist art and architecture while at university, and I've read so much about Sarnath. Thanks for sharing your photos and tips - definitely helped me visualize this very historic place in India!

i am already a big fan of this travel show called 'luxery india'!! jay is just so good at hosting the show although i've never even seen it! seriously husain, you need a cameraman's assistant don't you?!!!!
