Thanks, John Denver, for the words. First, let me say that if you are here looking for tips or recommendations, you won't find any. Sorry. But if you want to see what the West Virginia countryside looks like, c'mon in and have a look around. My parents bought a house outside Capon Bridge quite a number of years ago, and we have used it as a sort of family resort/retreat ever since. It's ideal for relaxing, cavorting, eating, and generally reconnecting and recharging city-frazzled batteries. From the Washington, DC suburbs you can be out here in about 2 hours. On VT, it takes less time than that! |

I love fall, Dorothy, and West Virginia definately has some of the best back wooded areas for seeing fall colors! Great pictures! |
