Getting TO/AROUND: You can do a lot (I mean A LOT) of walking in Vegas, assuming you don't plop in front of the first slot machine you see and stay there. Keep an eye out for moving walkways (connecting Luxor and Excalibur, for example), trams (connecting Excalibur and Mandalay Bay, with a stop at Luxor), and other niceties like that -- generally between casinos/hotels in the same management group. Taxis are plentiful although the cost can add up -- from one end of the strip to the other runs around $10 or so.
