"Sunset in Peng Chau" Hong Kong by Quinevere

I started to love Hong Kong, the city where I was born and being raised, when I got the chance to know an Englishman who lived in an island called Cheung Chau. I can say he had changed me a lot. The way how he loves the green, beaches and sunshine, lifestyle and culture here in HK let me realized there are parts I had missed in twenty years. I couldn't say I was a materialised girl, but I admitted I was someone who had ignored the beautiful side of HK and spent most of time working, watching movies, shopping, playing tennis, computer games and traveling outside HK. The salty smell of the sea at the pier in Central brings the wonderful memories everytime I got there. I learned how to enjoy every moment of life, different cultures and traveling without joining tours. :)
Here I would like to dedicate this lyric to that special someone who used to play this song 'I will remember you' by Sarah McLaclan. She's one of my favourite singer who born in Halifax, Nova Scotia of Canada and I'm sure one day I will visit this lovely place. :)
I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories
Remember the good times that we had
We let them slip away from us
When things got bad
Clearly I first saw you
Smiling in the sun
I want to feel your warmth upon me
I want to be the one
I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories
I'm so tired
But I can't sleep
Standing on the edge
of something much too deep
Funny how I feel so much
But cannot say a word
We are screaming inside
Oh...but we can't be heard
*Chorus*
So afraid to love you
More afraid to lose
Clinging to a past
that doesn't let me choose
But once there was a darkness
A deep and endless night
Gave me everything you had
Oh...you gave me light
*Chorus*
