Imperial Palace

Unique Qualities: This was where I stayed on my first trip to Las Vegas. It was a place to sleep and start the evening, nothing more nothing less. There is 2,700 rooms and suites and a 75,000 square-feet casino. The staff and atmosphere was friendly and a little more laid back than most places in Las Vegas. I had alot of laughs and good times here and would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for one of the cheaper hotels to stay at while in Vegas.

Aladdin

Unique Qualities: The Aladdin Resort & Casino bears the distinction of being the only resort in Vegas history to rise from the dead: it was imploded in 1998 and then rebuilt. I was there before it was rebuilt and can say... Not a place where you found high rollers spending the night! There was awful green and orange shag carpeting in the halls and rooms, that I will always remember! But hey I was there for a good time, not a long time, so the song goes!

Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino

Unique Qualities: A sight to see, right from the entrance with its Renaissance statues and cascading fountains to the 90,000-square-foot casino! 3,014 rooms and 256 suites! I stayed in one of the suites! Custom-designed 1,200-seat theatre, 3,000-square-foot exercise room (an official Reebok facility) Dining for every occasion it seemed, and shops, even a wedding chapel! The layout of the whole facility is one of the best in Las Vegas. It truly is one of the few hotels you will not get lost in! I stayed here for my wedding, and had the time of my life!!!

The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino

Unique Qualities: The 'world's first rock and roll hotel and casino' is many things, but one you would never expect, tasteful. Of course there is the memorabilia - signed guitars, full outfits of clothing and other items directly from the closets of rock's biggest and brightest. But even without those items, the Hard Rock boasts dozens of things that make it unique. Rooms are spacious and handsomely decorated, 668 of them, I stayed in room 222! The circular casino feels more like a large, spacious lounge than a cavernous gambling warehouse. The pool area is lush beyond belief, so I'm told. This place is definitely for the younger party crowd and is rocking every night!!! There are a couple of lounges/clubs located here that attract the crowds. I didn't see anyone super famous while I was here but I did sit at the black-jack table with Axl Rose (Gun's N'Roses).
