Slovenia - Slovenia

I've put together this short page to round up my travelogue of my recent visit to this fascinating country. Slovenia is probably Europe's best kept secret with its diverse landscape ranging from Austrian style lakes and mountains in the north to the Venetian architecture of its coastal towns where it borders with Italy.

Ljubljana and Piran are described on my other pages so here I am adding my experience of the caves at Postojna and the scenic Lake Bled. These two locations are both well known tourist attractions and justifiably so as you'll see if you get a chance to visit them.

In the description of Postojna I have also broken one of my own rules which is to always use original photos, but as photography is officially forbidden inside Postojna cave I think I can get away with it just this time!
