I did some trekking in Pakistan and Nepal and the latter is my favourite because is easier. You only have to carry your pack. Food and lodging is available. Good for me because I'm not getting any younger.
Lahore
I met this man in Lahore and he offered me to clean my ears. I declined.
al hajjara
I like going to the Middle East, people welcom me with open arms. Most interesting is Yemen, a bit wild sometimes.
Kho Pi Pi
for beaches, one has to go to thailand or malaysia.
Angkor Wat
in 1993 the situation at Angkor Wat was still dangerous, especially drunken goverment soldiers. But everyone should see this place.
visiting india in 93 and 98 and times do change , tickets for the Taj Mahal go up,up and up. No fun for a backpacker. The Taj Mahal however never changes.
the Great Wall
I always see pictures of the Great Wall with loads of people on it. Not at this place.
Hongkong
for modern architecture go to Bangkok, KL, Shanghai or in this case Hong Kong.

You've been so lucky to go to all those great places. I wish I could do some trekking in Nepal, Pakistan or Peru. They look amazing in your pictures.
