    • Take a day trip or weekender out to Niagara on the Lake. Sure it's touristy but not as bad as Niagara Falls (where I almost broke my neck coincidentally).

    Time it when the Shaw festival is on and you'll be able to drink locally fermented icewine and take in a great play in a picturesque little town.
