Barbados has much to offer a visitor. The locals (known as Barbadians or Bajans) are extremely nice and overly helpful. There are some things you need to keep in mind when you travel there, but whether you like swimming, hiking, or spelunking, there is something for you to do (especially partying). Barbados is by far the ‘party island’ of the Caribbean. Almost every month there are at least two festivals or tournaments, usually carrying on for a week or so. The island makes its own rum and beer, fuelling (and usually sponsoring) the festivities. |

Be careful of the blistering from the juice though..and should it splash in your eyes...rinse with clean water immediately. | munki Wed Apr 6, 2005 12:19 UTC Miranda, a very informative page of Barbados with nice pictures. |
