The title is pretty self-descriptive. "Family vacation!" my mom yelled through the house before the sun had risen one cold and snowy day in December. My older brother and sister got out of bed and stumbled down the stairs for breakfast as I attempted to pull on some pants that seemed to be one leg short. Christmas was in less than a week and the fresh powder on the ground helped to fuel the mood. "Great news," my dad announced as I found my way down to a chair. "We're going to spend this Christmas in the Bahamas!" Us three kid exchanged worried glances, and rather justified looking back at it. All the beaches I went to were like this picture. |
