A summer shower

They are back!!!

Spring is the best time to visit. They are still going through rebirth challenges but they are on their way back.Summer in New Orleans ....lot's of restaurants, food , and fun.Hot ,yes but not as uncomfortable as feared. There can sometimes be a cooling shower (like the one about to start in the photo) that can make the temps a lot more bearable.

I like to eat and that reason alone would keep me coming back to New Orleans. The history is also a factor, and the people who live there are ever so friendly to tourists and proud of their city.

I've seen Bourbon Street a few times so I usually just stroll down once during my week stay to see the changes. depending on the music, a stoll can be short or long.Girls doing "interesting" things are usually interesting but after a while............

Street music

There's a tremendous opportunity to listen for free , and take home for a reasonable price, the product of a lot of very talented musicians. Make sure to take a stroll down Royal St and down the river and check them out. If you spend more than a few minutes and like what you hear, toss them a few bucks if you can afford it. The last trip down , I bought a bunch of cd's to help support them. It's a better souvenior than a t shirt.
