| Galway bay from Ballyvaughan, Ireland |
Ballyvaughan is a pretty little village that sits in the north west area of County Clare, looking out over Galway Bay.
it consists of 3 pubs, 1 restaurant, 1 cafe, a small supermarket and a petrol station. It makes for an excellent touring base for the Burren and a few local touristy places but you really need to accept that you have to drive a ways to see other sites of Ireland. |

prleprle Fri Dec 5, 2003 14:55 UTC Maybe that place is far from the accepted tourist sites but look very worth visiting. Maybe that lack of tourists give that special charm to everything. | Nobbyp Sun Sep 7, 2003 13:09 UTC Visited Ballyvaughn last Christmas, with my family, stayed at O'Briens Pub, Highly Recommended. A Beautiful area. Going back in 2004. | a005116 Sat Jun 21, 2003 22:31 UTC Vree wijs! Nice site...I hope there is more to come... |
