View from top of Arc De Triomphe. All roads really do lead to this monument and it is in the centre of a huge roundabout. There are underpasses to let the tourists visit the Arc De Triomphe and I am glad they were there. The French must be mad to drive around this roundabout. The saying goes that if you can drive in London, you can drive anywhere but, I can assure you, I would not like to drive around this area! At times, the whole road (approx 6 cars wide) is covered with swarming vehicles darting hither and thither; it really is a wonder that there are not some serious crashes in this part of Paris.

Unfortunately, I could not get any decent pictures of the inside of this place but it is worth going and having a look around. If you do though, please be quiet as it is a place of worship. Oh, and as an after thought, as you go out the door there is a tips box. If you have any spare change, please leave it to enable this church to carry on.

The Sacre Couer is a lovely place to go visit but take the vernacular to get to it. Sacre Couer is at the top of hill that feels like a mountain if you try to walk it. If you are there in the evening and look around in the back streets, there are a couple of nice courtyard areas that have cafés around them.
