Tokyo

by Jim_Eliason - last update: Jan 11, 2009

Cherry Blossoms
Tokyo is a contradiction. A very ancient culture in the most modern of cities. One minute you are among thousands in a concrete jungle, then afterwards, you are in a peaceful garden. But you are never far from people. The city is one of the most densely populated and also one of the most expensive in the world. And yet the Japanese, due to their culture have made this one of the safest and most modern cities you will find.

Thanks for YC on Stockholm page. You have done a marvelous job taking good photos of main attractions. They remind me of my teen ager and adolescent days.

You forgot to mention toilet paper :-) Or at least to yes accept all those little packets of tissues!
