The main exhibit of this museum is the St Roch, an Artic patrol ship that was the first to traverse the Northwest passage. All in all, this museum is well worth a visit.

Gas Town Gastown Review

Gastown is the original settlement area of Vancouver established by Gassy Jack in the 1880's. The area is now lined with restaurants and shops. The main attractions here are the steam driven clock and the statue of Gassy Jack in Maple Square.

Sun Yatsen Park Dr Sun Yat Sen Classical Chinese Gardens Review

This consist of two parts, a free park and an admission controlled gardens. The park itself is a nice site, I didn't bother to visit the gardens.

The University of British Columbia sits at the end of a peninsula on the western end of Vancouver isolated from the city by parkland. It's a very tranquil place with great scenery.

This museum is dedicated to the history of Vancouver from its original founding to current day. A large part of the museum is currently given over to the history of bike transportation in the city and efforts to make the city more bike friendly.

A space needle wannabe perched on top of the harbour center building, this none the less gives great views over Vancouver.

This small art museum is mostly dedicated to local artist but also hosts travelling exhibitions of Masterworks. While I was there they were hosting pieces from the Rijksmuseum.

In the Northeastern part of Stanlye park is a collection of First Nation Totem poles from throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Stanley Park Stanley Park Review

Sitting on the Western edge of Downtown, Stanley park is one of largest urban parks in existance. It juts out into the bay which gives it a feel of being in the middle of nowhere despite being nextdoor to downtown Vancouver. The park is ringed by the paved seawall trail that extends about 15 miles from Canada Place to Kitsalano Park.
