Salt Lake City is a fantastic city in a great natural surrounding. It has many attractions including the world famous LDS (Mormon) Temple Square, the great Salt Lake plus enough smaller sights to keep one busy for days. If one gets bored with the city, it's just a short drive to either the mountains or the desert. |

traveldave Sat Apr 12, 2008 14:12 UTC I've only been to SLC's airport and enjoyed the desert view. I definitely have to go there someday to see the city. | MM212 Mon Mar 17, 2008 16:48 UTC It's incredible how green SLC is in warmer months. I visited in winter and it was a desert! | karenincalifornia Mon Oct 24, 2005 19:16 UTC I used to live in SLC and visited many times since moving away, but never knew about the International Peace Gardens. I'll have to check it out next time I am there. Enjoyed your page on my former home town! |
