Magical Place

Tanah Lot
Bali is a fantastic destination. It's cheap and has all the services a tourist could ever want. However eventhough a major tourist destination, it has maintained a unique and authentic local culture. The island is covered with the most ornate temples from one side to the other. You can barely walk a 100 meters without running into one. Place this in a beautiful tropical isle and you'll have the makings of a paradise.

Bali is indeed a magical place! I only passed by Kuta and did not like it. But I loved Ubud! Those little creatures in the Monkey Forest are quite funny - and smart. I was amazed that they can peel a small banana. Of course they were highly motivated :)

To clarify, you only need to be prepared for rain in the wet/monsoon season. It is mainly 30-33 degrees celcius most of the year. Humidity is higher in the wet season.
