Siem Reap is the site of the famous world-renowned Angkor Wat and the much lesser known but equally fantastic other Angkor era temples and city ruins of the Khmer culture.
- Pros:Fantastic must see sights
- Cons:Poverty, lots of begging
- In a nutshell:Trip of a lifetime!

Thank you for visiting my Cambodia pages. This country has a truly fascinating history, both ancient and modern. I enjoyed your pages!
Nice hilights of Siem Reap & Angkor. Bring back fond memories.
Banteay Srei is my favourite temple. Love the delicate carvings and all the stories on the walls.
I loved Ta Prohm - well worth doing after sunrise at Angkor Wat when its more or less your own to enjoy at your leisure! Gillybob greetings
Firstly, thanks for visiting my page -it was a while ago...some great tips and photos Jim.
Wow it's amazing we were both there almost the same time. You know something I doubt we will talk to each other then maybe just a smile. Well I am glad we can share our experience here. :-) Thanks for visiting my page.
Hi Jim, very good page and I hope to be able to vist angkor wat in the near future!
Siem Reap has oozes with the angkor charm that makes everyone relishes for more. I didn't have the opportunity like you to explore so many sites. Good tips!
What wonderful antiquities! I've read about them, but never envisioned seeing them in person. The cultural show must have been quite instructive, too. Thanks for the tips and great pics!
Great pictures and interesting tips. Khett Siem Reab is on my dream list. Perhaps I'll manage to visit it in 2008, during my planned trip to Vietnam. How did you travel - independently or with a tour operator?
