Large herds of elephants roam Kruger. They can be spotted throughout the park.

Impala are a small antelope that are the most common animal in Kruger. One can scarcely drive a few hundred meters without running into impala.

It may have been just the luck of the draw but Giraffe's although plentiful in the park seemed more shy and less likely to venture close to the roads.
