Antigua is one of the most beautiful Colonial cities I have ever visited! Its small compact and easily walkable and around every corner is colorful Architecture and ruins from a once great city.
I was lucky enough to visit during Holy week (Santa Semana) and got to witness the unique traditions of Guatamala's biggest holiday. |

Luke6647 Tue Sep 9, 2008 17:38 UTC In my opinion, some of the best food in town - certainly the best Guatemalan food around. Skip the burgers, pizza, pasta, and sandwiches - you can get them anywhere. You are in Guatemala; for Heaven's sake, eat the local cuisine! | ChristinaNest Wed Jun 11, 2008 09:04 UTC Simply beautiful, too bad so much was destroyed by earthquakes... | Hopkid Thu May 15, 2008 01:00 UTC Some nice photos here, Jim!
