Although not its most modern museum this is San jose best musuem. it houses a substational collection of pre-columbian artifacts along with colonial and national treasures. The museum is housed in the old Army headquarters.

The National Museum is on the grounds of the old Army headquarters. It was converted into a museum after the Army was abolished. The museum is as interesting for its architecture as it is its collection of artifacts

This Theatre built in 1897, this theatre is San Jose's Architectural gem. It is still used today for performances which can limit your ability to visit inside.
