Bangkok is a city of many contrast. It is filled with beautiful palaces and temples. One could stay here a week and not see it all. But it is also a city of snarled traffic and a lot of poverty.
The Grand Palace certainly must rank as one the great sights in the world.
- Pros:Wonderful Palaces and Temples
- Cons:Horrible traffic

nice tips for bangkok Jim. Just transit for one day before, no time to see all. Would like to come back there for real.:-)
You must have a big stamp on your forehead that says, "Take Advantage of Me" because I've lived in Bkk for five years and rarely have this problem with taxis....
I'm going to Thailand in 3 weeks for 3 weeks!!! Very excited! Thanks for all the great tips!
