The architecture alone is a reason to have a look at the Convention Centre. Wander around for free, have a coffee at MUZZ BUZZ or the cafes inside the Centre. There are grounds to sit and relax. 15 minute walk from the city centre mall. 5 minute walk from St. George Terrace. Check out the website for any expos or events. Quite often there are W.A expos such as food and wine - great for visitors.

It is an island off Perth that must be included into your plans. The only place where you will see Quokkas. Accomadation varies and book in very early. resturants and food places are on the island as well as boat cruises, scubdiving, bike hire, golf course, world war tour and more. Go there for a day trip or spend the week there. people go there for the sun, surf, beaches and as a summer holiday. There are no cars on the island. Transport is by bike. The island is basically untouched, bike tracks will take you all over the island to the secluded beach spots. If your a beach person this holiday is for you. Crystal blue waters. You just have to go less then 5 metres off shore and you can snorkel. The basin is a popular beach.

Is the one and only city park that you must go to whether it's day or night. it has got beautiful views of perth. There are always activities there. In summer there is the sunset cinema(outdoor cinema) you haven't experienced a movie unless you watch it under the stars. There are plenty of walks, things to explore and places to eat. It is proberly the main picnic place in Perth. If you are in Perth on valentines day i recommend you spend the evening watching the sunset, having a picnic or taking a walk in kings Park. It really is a thing to do and the atmosphere is unbelievable.

Visit the islands just off the coast of Fremantle- kwinana. Such islands are human free. penguin island, garden island and Carnac island. There are boat torque cruises that take you there (like ferries) and show you the ocean and it's inhabitants. You will also be able to see dolphins. bring along food and drinks or buy on board. One island named carnac island is known for it's snakes....they snakes are like beasts. You will also be able to see the sea lions.

This really is a unique way to see our forests, instead of walking on the floor beneath, you walk 38 metres above the floor amogsnt the forest. It is a boardwalk in tingle forest. the views are unbelievable and so is the walk itself. You can really get close to the life in the trees.

CAPE NATURALISTE - It's also one of the tips of W.A where you have a million dollar view of the ocean and sometimes you will be lucky to see whales Naturaliste is one of the untamed beauties of W.A. . There is a trail which takes you along the tip and the coastline and then back to the light house. Daily guides are available. When i went there, there was no official track that lead down to the beach however there were tracks and i recommend you take these they are safe and so is the beach line(i did this in wet weather). it's hard to explain the feeling when you get down to the beach and you are so small. The ocean is way to dangerous to swim in, looking up from where you came from and turning to watch these killer waves, rocks border the beach and climbing on them you get a better view. It's very different coming from a city beach.
