We stayed in Penang for 5 nights and went on a day trip to Palau Payar (also know as the Coral Islands), part of the Langkawi Region. |
|  | Relaxing..... It was a 2 hour ferry ride to the island, which docked at a floating pontoon/platform with bar, toilet and deck chair facilities.
We spent the day snorkelling, swimming to the shore and sunbathing on the deck chairs. There was an area section off for the snorkelling which prevented jelly fish also coming through.
After lunch was served we were taken by smaller boats to see the feeding of the sharks (very small sharks). |
