Revolving Fountain inside the foyer - Kuala Lumpur

Revolving Fountain inside the foyer

The Palace of the Golden Horses

This is a hotel located near the Mines Shopping centre. Its a beautiful, peaceful place with a small canal that connects to the Mines Shopping Centre. We stopped here to have a wander through the plush grounds including a waterfall. We took a small boat to the Mines shopping centre, the canal goes straight through the shopping centre.

Something different in Kuala Lumpur to see, lovely gardens.

Water fall - Kuala Lumpur

Water fall

Templer's Park

We took a light jungle trek to through a beautiful rainforest which ended with a swim in the water fall pool.

We saw many monkeys playing in the trees.

It was only half a morning and we were able to fit in some more shopping afterwards.

The Golden Palace - Kuala Lumpur

The Golden Palace

The Golden Palace & The Mines

We took a taxi from the city to the Golden Palace which is a luxurious hotel. We wandered around the grounds which included many open aired pavillions and a fake waterfall.

For 50cents aust we took a boat to The Mines Shopping Centre. This shopping centre has a channel of water that goes through it allowing boats to come inside the shopping centre!

The Naughty Monkeys - Kuala Lumpur

The Naughty Monkeys

Batu Caves Batu Caves Review

The Batu caves may look deceiving however there are 270 steps and that is a big work out.

Located in the cave is a religious temple which is used even today.

Beware of the naughty monkey's as they will grab things from you! Below this monkey stole a little boys coke bottle.

Cable Car to Genting Highlands Genting Highlands Review

We took a mini van up to the Genting Highlands then a cable car which only cost $8.00 aust return through the jungle and up to the resort and spent half a day there although we could of spent two full days!

The resort consisted of a hotel, casino an indoor and outdoor theme park!

We didn't have any time to go to the outside theme park except for having a look at it however we enjoyed a yummy lunch and spent most of the time in the hotel and indoor theme park!

Be warned that it is cooler in the genting highands, so be sure to wear pants or a light jumper!

Suria - Kuala Lumpur

Suria

Suria Shopping Centre Suria KLCC Review

This is a huge shopping centre with all the brand names such as Gucci, channel, Diesel etc all at great prices (well compared to australia anyway).

There are rows of digital camera stores as well.

Worth a visit, one of Malaysia's best!
