Aveiro is a harbour city with much industry and only a small historical centre. Despite that the historical centre is very beautiful. Because of the many chanels Aveiro has and because of the typical boats (simular to gondolas) they call Aveiro the venice of Portugal. As concequence of that this city is realy not touristic it is much cheaper than for instance Porto or Lisboa. |
