Nobody really knows about the Philippines. Some backpackers have been there. Many other rolling stones have come there and started to gather moss. In Boracay, I met both. The backpackers were a bit adventuresome, of course. It took them a while to get there. And most of them had already been many other places. They chose the Philippines because it's off the beaten path. And those rolling stones - yes, you can find them by the dozen in Boracay. I met Americans, Japanese, Spanish, Norwegian, Germans, English, and, of course, Filipinos NOT from Boracay. They all wound up there for there own reasons. This guy in the picture is from Holland. He was on his way to Palawan with his friend and decided to stop at Boracay because, well, Boracay is absolutely beautiful.
