Marvellous city and terrific access to good country.
There are tips here on various parts of the Pyrenees here and on Tarragona and Gerona. The city itself has an entry under every heading: Gerona under General, Mustsee, Accommodation and Transport: Catalonian Pyrenees under General, Accommodation, Mustsee, Offbeat and Transport: Tarragona under General and Mustsee: the rest are Aragon Pyrenees; I tried to distinguish between Torla and East Aragon on one hand and the Jaca area on the other but it makes a rather unreal distinction.
