Back in 2005 on my way to Toronto from Japan, we flew out of Vancouver over the most beautiful green island. I asked the air-stewardess "What is that?!" And she replied, "Oh, that's Vancouver Island. Isn't it beautiful?" Yes, it was and spellbound I watched until it disappeared far bahind us. Little did I know that I would fall in love not only with its capital city, but also with the man who would become my husband. On a whim and at VT member devmicha's invitation, I popped over to Victoria. What an adventure that turned out to be! |
